I Can get to server select, but cant connect to one!!
 

HEEEELP!!! lol, I Can get to the server select, but when i hit connect (To a server) My Desktop mouse unlocks, and EQ Freezes up for a sec, then it says Lost connection to server, Repatch repeadtly or wait a couple of minutes. and it wont work Help me please :(

Yeah, I get this same thing sometimes.

I just keep hitting the connect button. Sometimes it goes away after one attempt, sometimes it take 10 attempts of clicking to finally connect to the server....

It's not a solution, but it's what works for me right now.

Error 1017?

I don't remember if it's 1017, but that sounds familiar. I think it is, but don't quote me on it.

If you want it fixed, give me something to quote.

It is not a error, So i just have to keep trying?

Bash, when it fails, it says something. Post that something here.

Anyway, about 1017, first patch to eqlive. Download patcher (see sig). Install it into your EQ folder, by browsing and specifying the one with eqgame.exe in it. See sig for Missing Files fix if you have it in the wrong folder. You'll be missing a bunch of files.

If this fails, the answer is probably in my signature, so keep browsing.

Bashjoo, do you have a router? You may have to set DMZ to your internal IP address.
