It is part of the source code

It is part of the source code. You need to building the program from scratch to change it (and have it affect anything). It is not a configuration file.

guess that might give me trouble changing just that aspect of the game =\
aight, is there any way to download the files (CPPs or whateva? i already have C++ since im a computer science major in college) used to compile/make 4.4dr1 world.exe or whichever file i would need to alter to get that to take effect?
im sorry if ive just overlooked downloading them somewhere in this forum as large as its become

Where to get the source files

Where to get the source files. Go to the main EQemu website http://eqemu.net look on the left side in the "Main Menu" section, the 2nd subsection is named "Source Forge". Click on the "Files" link there, it will take you to source forge, you will need to set up CVS to checkout the files. I use WinCvs which works nicely. I think there are instructions in one of the forums here that talks about doing this (sorry I don't know where off hand, maybe in the Development forum). Good luck.[/b] -- Some more info: I am using WinCVS version 1.2, WinCvs Admin Preferences CVSROOT is ":pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/eqemu", Authentication is "passwd" file on cvs server

yikes

yikes thats a lot to deal with, im not exactly sure whats wrong but i cant get it to compile right, so ill deal with what ive got, im not here to try to fix my (or whatever else) error with the compiling of the world.exe and zone.exe
instead i am just going to ask, does anyone have a 4.4dr1 world.exe where the only changed thing is increased exp by like 3 to 5 times perhaps?
if somebody could direct me to a file that just has that alteration (even though i feel i am asking a bit much at this time) i would greatly appreciate it
thank you all for your time
