error 1054
 

Hi

I am trying to start a server and I am having some trouble when it gets to the point where I am supposed to copy
"source reloaddb.sql;" over to mysql. It gives me the error like this.

Error 1054: unknown column 'usedspells 'in 'field list. And it just keeps repeating that endlessly while the computer beeps the whole time. :x Did I leave a file out or something? :roll:

You're probably using one of Drawde's most current databases. These are designed for the upcoming releases. Try one of the ones listed for Eqemu 4.3, from the list you can find at the Databases Link in my sig. It's the "official" release.

Unsource the DB you have, then source only Drawde's things, including itemsbooks.zip and his main database.

It has Current CVS Releases, and Current offical Releases... on that page, which do I d/l?? I got the error with the worlddata1.1beta4, EQEMu-0.4.3-Win32, and mysql-4.0.13-win. Any of these the wrong files?

That's the correct release - not sure how to fix it because I haven't hosted in ages.

I finally got it to work, :idea: but I had to wipe EQ off of my Cdrive and then reload. :evil: Patch up to latest then install the Drawde's Worlddata 1.1 beta 5. Add this to the latest version of EQemu patcher, and then I did the "source reloaddb.sql;" And it worked it through that error. :D Now I am on an error 1136 or something like that. :roll: I will eventually work that one as well. Hope this helps.

well i got the same thing as well.... might be something we are over looking ive tried re doing the database laod a few times and still get the 1136 error...any help would be appreciated.

well the 1054 error occures when you try to do the reloaddb step. Then what I think happened is the people here have done what Guest-03 has said and got the right version or another version of drawde's, and then tried to load it and redo the reloaddb step, then the 1136 error happens, what it really says is 1136 mixmatch files or something along those lines.

I belive it is an error created from sourcing the db with one version of drawde's then trying to reload it with another so I did this and it worked.

One way I got around the 1136 error was to delete all files in the mysql\bin folder that I added myself, then I deleted the EQ folder in the data folder under mysql\data

then I downloaded the new versions of files and reloaded everything, it worked, but I am still stuck a little further down the road lol


I dont think this post will help much and I dont suggest anyone to do what I did, but maybe it will help clarify the 1136 error and what it represents
