Error 1017 - Another One yes!
 

Ok heres the deal, I have looked through a lot of posts, and i cant find anything that helps, i have tried just about everything i have seen, here is my error:

Error 1017: Cannot login to the everquest server.
you may need to re-run the update path. Repeatedly seeing this message indicates a loss of connectivity to the patch server. this is usually temporary.

I have tried across all servers, same thing everytime.

What error do you get when you run patcher?

also i am on a lan so if that affects please say so, and mention how to fix it

I am also getting the 1017 problem. I followed the EQEmu setup step-by-step and the only thing that concerned me was when I ran EQEmu patcher. It said it was missing a lot of files, like 20 :? , but then at the bottom it said all files were ok with EQEmulator. Any help :?:

duh, just looked at guests sig, and got it figured out. thanks (even if you didn't mean it :D )

I get the same error and I installed the latest patcher What The hell?

If you're missing files, see sig. As for patcher not having any errors, mine works perfectly and has output of "Missing discard.log". Post what it says.
