Server help please.

Ok, I'v just started making my server and I'm really pumped now to make the best server out there!
I've been reading everything there is to read now but I still can't find alot of things that I seem to need.

This is what I'd like to do.
I have 3 people who want to play on my server, they are across town so no Lan server. I'd like to be able to have all the zones up at once and have a 24/7 connection, I have a second comp to do this. I'd like to be able to move monsters around in the zone and make my own monsters. I'd then like to make quests and such that I can put in the zones.

My question is..
Which files do I need to do all this and how do I do it all?
I'v read how to make a server and such and did that and I read the quest thing and the building thing but it still doesn't make real sense to me. Is there one big easy-to-use program that I can do this all on or am I hopeless?
Thanks for all the help!

Rolon,

Most of the stuff you see on posts you already have the files for. There's a lot of "in-game" commands that you can use. Just read the "readme" file either in your eqemu directory (or wherever you installed it) or click on the link at the EQEmu homepage. Quests are a little different, hence the reason they started an entire thread for them. Start reading that thread thoroughly and try understanding some of the coding they're using. Make sure you find out what file versions you're running so that you don't start looking at the wrong posts for the version.

If you have any problems, or just can't get something to work, post it in the proper forum here. There's one thing I can say about EQEmu devs, not to mention other posters, the support here blows away Sony by far. If it's an error with running the game itself, try searching the forums first to see if that solves your problem. If you have to post, make sure you post the usual settings, error messages, etc. The more info you post, the easier it is for someone to help you. If it's within the game itself, such as can't quite get a quest to work, then post the quest file and see if someone can help. Sometimes it just takes another set of eyes to see the error or problem.
