Running LAN Eqemu on 2 pcs via linksys router --- 1017 error
Currently Me and my bud are talking about starting up a server for the both of us and were going to add quests and mobs and stuff and were going to add loot tables for everything and were going to level up from 1 to 65 on it... well anyways I have the EQEMU set up on My computer which we will call PC1... His computer is PC2.... We are both connected to eachother via Linksys router...
What happenes is PC1 is the games host and I can log into the game and everything and play and all.... PC2 can get into the server select server then when tries to join he gets a 1017 error and gets booted to the server select screen. Here is the settings for eqemu on PC1 which is the EMU host... db.ini [Database] host=localhost user=liquidice password=****** database=eq compression=off Loginserver.ini [LoginServer] loginserver=localhost loginport=5999 loginport2=5999 worldname=Jeremy's Room worldaddress=localhost locked=false account= password= [WorldServer] Defaultstatus= Unavailzone= [LoginConfig] ServerMode=Standalone ServerPort=5999 UplinkAddress= UplinkPort= UplinkAccount= UplinkPassword= MiniLoginAccounts.ini localhost liquidice ****** 192.168.0.1 fable ****** Boot5zomes.ini REM:--------------Start----------------------- @echo off if NOT exist spells_en.txt goto NOSPELL start zone . 127.0.0.1 7995 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 7996 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 7997 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 7998 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 7999 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8000 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8001 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8002 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8003 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8004 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8005 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8006 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8007 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8008 127.0.0.1 start zone . 127.0.0.1 8009 127.0.0.1 exit cls :NOSPELL echo You did not copy the spells_en.txt from your everquest directory to this one.
