Help with EQW
 

The EQW Window is Splite in Two? How do I fix this?

Cant help ya if you dont explain your exact problem and what u did to get it.

OK all I did was download it from the EQW web site.
Unziped it into my EQ folder. Opened it. and there were Two Screens in one all smooshed together. The Text was all Scrambled too.

I did nothing else.

Okay is your desktop set to 16 bit color?

Nah..
32 bits
1152 x 864.

Okay, to fix the wierd colors, you need to do the following in EXACTLY the same order:



1. Open your EQEmu folder.

2. Find the file named "readme.txt"

3. open that file.

4. look at Part 1, step 3 of the install guide and tell me what it says under "**NOTE"








Little hint: it says

3) Extract eqw.zip into your Everquest directory. It would also be a good idea to create a shortcut of this file on your desktop or EQEmu directory.

**NOTE: EQW requires your desktop be set to 16 bit color mode.

I wanna use it for Real EQ. Just dont know how.. But I will ahve a look at that Readme.

well it didnt say anything about EQEmu.. it says "EQW requires your desktop be set to 16 bit color mode."



That goes for Real EQ and any other program u try to get it working with hehe.
