Verant makes EQ singleplayer?
 

I read an article about how Verant may make EQ singleplayer if customer base drops and they close down servers. This will be in the far future, but i was wondering if anyone knows anymore about this than i do.

Could you supply a link or tell us the source of this article? It sounds a whole lot like a rumour started by the average 10-year-old fan.

Im already far ahead of them in creating a singlerplayer EQ. LMAO.

I had read it back along time ago the day i decided i was going to quit EQ. I clung onto that thread of hope that one day it would be single player. As to where i read it, i really cant remember, it may have been gamespot tho. Something sounds firmilar about gamespot...i'll have to look into it.

Alas, since the day i was visiting the smithy's anvil in hopes of downloading a Ultima Online Emulator, and to my raptous joy i found a link to this beautiful site. I have not search for Verants attemps to instill hope in those who can no longer play EQ. No, that dream is very much a reality now everquest is single player, and its features will be refined more and more as it progresses. No doubt Verants Single Player brainchild would have to make them money. Included would be pop-up add's and links to dirty porno sites in a desperate attemp to squeeze the last few drops of blood from a lifeless stone.

But there is my rant. Sorry i couldnt answer your question anybetter. I was just interested to know if Verant was thinking of doing such a thing then it would better justify it being done now.

Check out www.sphereserver.com for an Ultima Emulator. While it is in full working order and everything, believe me, the EQEmu is MUCH MORE worthy of your time. :)
