newbie to emu
 

hey all i just signed up and i have no idea how to actually play eqemu? im like :shock: whoa what the heck do i do now? so if someone can help me i would appreciate it :wink: thanks

Go to the front page of EQEmu, download the patcher you see, install it to your EQ directory, run the patcher, check the "Run EQ" box before it finishes download. Viola!

what do you mean install it to your eq directory?
and will i still be able to play REGULAR everquest when i want to?

ok i installed it and everything and when i clicked the patcher button, it showed a WHOLE BUNCH of missing files then it said runtime error 53'
file not found.
how do i fix this?
and for all of you looking at the post but not replying please help me!

ok i tried to install to the eqdirectory thingy but i couldn't find that folder to save in. thi dosn't make any sense because i play eq all the time. where is that folder hiding and how do i install the patcher to it?

if you used the default directory it's probably in C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest Trilogy
