Help!!! dropping to desktop
 

Anyone know why I keep dropping to desktop? This happens on all servers, lag or no lag.

Have you downloaded the "eqemu patcher"?
if not try it!!! :P

Only solution I think is possible is that you keep on trying until you actually get into the world

Ugh sorry left out details.

I can get in and game just fine. I use the eqemu patcher. Just now and then when in world I will sudden blink and I'm back at desktop.

It was mentioned overheating cpu but I find that hard to believe since I beta test a game that has 5 times the graphic and processing load that eq does, and never have this problem.

Doubt it...... I haven't played it in ages and deleted chars. :lol:
