Run-time error 70
 

i get the run time error '70' every time i try to run the patcher. I know there have been a lot of posts about this, i rebooted multiple times and the patcher doesnt even show up on my ctrl alt del list...any ideas?

I had the same problem myself, a simple search found the answer, Ctrl+Alt+Del and kill all instances of patch.exe and patcher.exe, then run again

i said that didnt work heh, i only had explorer running according to ctrl alt del..

at http://www.eqemu.net/index.php?patcher it says that if ur running 98/2000 or XP w/o SP1, then you need to dl this : http://www.eqemu.net/patcher/mdac_typ.exe , that might be the problem if its not the multiple instances thing

I installed that and I still have the problem =[
