Everquest offline...
 

Finally they are making an everquest type game offline...if you want it to be that is. Just a small group of friends can play and you don't have to worry about the mobs of other people.

blizzard hasn't tried to sue just to c if they could do it

says its for playstation and i only have a playstation 1 also sounds remarkably like whats written on the diable 1 case i have and probibly whats on the diable II case

but still sounds interesting

baulder's gate dark alliance was cool and it was a diablo clone

Just another game for people to make unlegit characters for download and see how bad they can hack the online version before the game becomes a hackfest like Diablo, Diablo 2, any all other bullshit games of the like.

If they were smart, they'd make it so you don't need to download hacks, it comes with the game. *Cough* NWN *Cough*

what other game comes with all the dev tools needed to make worlds as good if not better than the game you bought

what NWN did was awesome and a milestone in this corparate world we live in today

Everquest offline is most likely going to suck anyone rember Morrowind now that was ok but it lacked stuff EQemu is differnt it is the real game and you can host a server or play by your self like unreal. Now if Everquest Offline was like the real game and you could connect to other people i would might buy it but is if it is going to be like Morrowind

Actually a game that came out a while ago set the standard that NWN broke when it came to dev tools. Remember Vampire the Masquerade? Yeah yeah single player sucked <pretty much a hack fest>, but the Multiplayer tools were friggin awesome. I love it, still play it from time to time. To me, it never got the credit it deserved when it came to it's dev tools. But anywayz back to the main subject:

Sounds like it'd be fun. . .but i expect SoE to mess it up somehow.

yeah i got that game as well, online was awesome

but NWN just rocked when it came to included tools, sorry but these are the tools used to make the game you play, not a dumbed down version of them
