suicidal "powered by Sony" logo
 

I noticed the "powered by sony" logo on the front page of the website. Forgive me if it has been said somewhere else, but i didnt find any info about that in the forum... Did sony gave the right to put their logo on EQEmu site ?

i think this is a "suicidal" thing, if sony sue the eqemu team, that's the thing that will be the most paintfull. also "powered by sony" could have the meaning that sony officialy support eqemu. I think this logo is an useless risk.

It think it's just giving propers to the company that created the game. Sony in no way officially supports this project.

on the sony page linked to the logo, there is written :
"SOE, the SOE logo and Station.com are registered trademarks or trademarks of Sony Online Entertainment Inc. All Rights Reserved"

it's a good thing to give sony some credit for the game, but taking their logo without their consent is imho a very bad way to do that.
