error with mysql at startup
i just uninstalled mysql and when i start up i get this error saying that your shorcut to mysql or something is gone how do i just get rid of the popup?

Open a prompt. Enter msconfig and hit enter. Remove the checkmark by it in your startup.
Alternate: Open your startup folder, which resides in the Windows folder. Delete mysql if it's in there. (Hard way) Enter the registry LocalMachine/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run - delete mysql. |

sorry im a newb but how do i get msconfig? type it in run? or in cmd? because i did both and couldn't find it :( lol and the other ways i don't get..sorry :( *** er can't even find the folder in the second way ***

The recommendation works in windows 98. I don't like NT and migrated to Linux when I was asked to use it and all of its children.
In Windows 98, you can type msconfig in the run window, or in the command window. |
