Quest file re-processor
 

All of the downlaodable quests files for Drawde's database have not worked for me due to systematic syntax errors in the files and incorrect NPCID's. In order to overcome these problems i wrote a program to reprocess Quest files and correct NPCID's and a number of syntax problems.

This is a win32 application and requires MyODBC 3.51 and MDAC2.6.

Use this app at your own risk. It will not modify the original quest files but creates new coppies in the directory specified.

Since using this app i have finally gotten the quests working!

A lot of these quests are incomplete - they only have the initial dialog. If you have a more complete set of quests i would be interested in getting a copy.

There also seems to be a bug in EQEMU that prevents items from being handed over to NPC's?

you'll need to have a recent compile of the binaries from CVS for the hand-ins to work.

no matter how many times I run your setup program it tells me I have out of date files.

Thanks for the feedback, I hadn't tested the install on systems other than WinXP SP1.

I have repackaged the install with none of the dependencies included so that it will install on all systems (ensure you have MyODBC 3.51, MDAC 2.6 and VB6sp5 runtime installed).

That link for Drawde's database has a \ in it whre it needs a /. The correct link is:

The reprocessor has a messed-up link also. The correct link for it is:
