Newbie needs help (Suprise, suprise...)
 

Ok, I just got the emulator a few days ago, and as I stated in my last post, I can run the game without a hitch. I can make characters, use the GM commands, etc. However, there are no monsters and NPCs. I got drawde's database as someone suggested, but I don't know what to do with it.
I got a db.sql file that was already modified (by shawn319), and I placed it in the correct folder, but it didn't work. What did I forget to do, or maybe I have the wrong version? Would I be better off downloading the newest version of the database that I saw?

that DB is old. you need the default DB from 0.2.5 + drawdes txt files.

use eq
source whatever.txt


same as .sql's
