SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME
 

ALRIGHT I HAVE HAD IT THIS IS STUPID I can't get past a 1064 error and no I am not dumb, I know how to spell. I am trying to change the user in the mysql.exe and it does not view my password as creditable. If Anyone Is kind enough to help instead to just leave us newbies in the dark, that is newbie to emulators not everquest thanks I would really apperciate it.


P.S Don't Know if being on the edge breaks any rules do to the fact Can't read them they won't load. Sorry if it does.

Maby you put a space after the Password ether originaly or then, thats what i did took me a week to figure it out :?

and ya might want to chill on the caps, most people see that and dont even bother to read your post.

Do a search on 1064 errors, and if it's mysql, go to the mysql website to figure it out. If your password is invalid, do the steps listed under the 1045 error in my sig.

Thanks guys. You both helped me The space made it take the command which I had to use from the link. but it didn't take it fully instead it gave me a 1045 error. I searched the forum I never have seen this one. I apperciate you helping me any more info would also be apperciated. thanks again

Did you go to the 1045 error fix in my sig?

I fould some other fixes and solutions that also help on the 1045 issue. I plan to <sometime in the near futur. .sorry work prohibits atm> update the 1045 link error fix page. One thing that I have tried and works is when you go to use mysql.exe at the command prompt run it like this:

mysql.exe -u root mysql

Hopefully that solves a problem.
