New Krusher details

Greeting All. There has been alot of speculation in the forums concerning the new "Legit" server. Well its now time to clear all this up. The server will be "legit" in a "non-legit" format. I know, sounds stupid, but let me explain. The basis of the new server will be built upon 2 classes. First: the Combat Class. The combat class will be the typical char. Warrior, Shaman, etc. The big diffenence is the WAY a combat class can obtain items. All Classes will start off with all the gear required to play the game. ie: armor(good stuff, not newbie junk), weapons, food, water, and some other items that this class will need to function (*to be announced*) to there full ability. Second: The tradesman class. The tradesman class will be just that, tradesman. There goal in life is to make/aquire the items that the combat class needs to advance in level and skill. Now, heres the twist. The tradesman class will only be allowed to travel to and from appointed server wide trade zones.

Certain component supplies that the tradesman class will need to make items can ONLY be found off mobs that the combat class can kill. This will require that BOTH class work together to be able to aquire the supplies to make those uber items. These are the basic ideas behind the server. There are others also. For example: There will be Live Gods for the players to align themselfs with. This will allow for specific quests for the obtainment of special items that can be given to tradesman char to make that uber Breastplate. Or if a tradesman cares to hire someone to obtain the quest piece, then he could sell the item on the open market. Also, tradesman will be allowed to buy real estate in the realm. IE: if a player wanted to buy an inn in freeport, he could if he had the cash. Now. to buy a shop, the player would have to purchase that shop from the GOD who has control over that realm. Hence, the alignment of the Gods. If the player fell out of favor with that God then his/her shop could be "repossesed". These basic ideas are already in place on the "new" server. We are working very hard to get all the details together and setup the world to make sure it all works. Please keep in mind that the first goal is to make the world as bug free as possible. After that then we will begin adding content. The dev team and GM team have been busting there butts to get it online and functioning ASAP. Durning the next 2 weeks or so we will be taking apps for a limited number of players to test the codeing and quests to make sure were ready. Now i know this is going to invoke more questions than it answered but i felt it was time to explain about what is happening. Please feel free to post comments/concerns about this story. No Flaming pls. Just be honest about your questions and the staff and myself will answer. Again, thx for you patienece while we put this UBER server together. Also, the server will have a complete story line that explains the whys and hows that the world got to this point. As soon as that is complete we will post it on the site for our players. Note: These are NOT all the different ideas for the server, this is the basic thinking behind the server. Keep in mind that we will be expanding on how the server looks as we setup. i can't wait to try to get a tester spot, i just hope the exp is fast and plentiful on the server, as they are making us all start from lvl 1 again

You will be able to pick which God you want to serve.
You will also be able quit serving a god at any time...but don't think the God will like that very much traitors will be treated as criminals to that God, he/she will ingore you (roleplay wise only of course) and take any items you have gotten from him/her away.

2. GOD OF DEATH

3. GOD OF JUSTICE

4. GOD OF PEACE

5. GOD OF PURE EVIL

(Possibly more to come)

Each god will have his/her own special traits and such.
Gods will give out quests and give out rewards for serving them faithfuly over time.

Note: When sending a tell to a God it should be STRICTLY out of character(example: I need soandso moved he is stuck and cannot log on), if you wish to talk to a God use /shout /say etc etc.

this is the latest news for the server, i can honestly say this is an awesome addtion, eq live should be like this with their gods, and not just make then uber/mindless mobs

Assuming the gods actively plan to war on a strategic level, the players are left to fight tactically.

This sounds like the gods have ultimate dominion over the people they control, which isn't so bad, assuming the gods aren't cruel. I think I like the idea. I would hope to gain a kind or ambitious god instead of a weak one. God alliances could be cool too. There could be a lot of fun drama.

Might get pretty annoying as a GM though, after a while anyway. Sounds interesting though.

I think the Lead GMs are gods, or play gods.

Charel very simply, wants everything to die, he is the brother of the Goddess of life, his parents loved his sister and hated him because when he was born his powers were "different" anyone/anything who got close to him and looked him into the eyes would fall over dead instantly he, he was abused and thrown to the side, also forced to wear a mask that would block his eyes from view. Charel isn't really evil, or mean he just wants things dead, he is easily annoyed and wants to be left alone, he can be friends with people if they are willing to follow is path, which is not easy to do...

Class choices: Any besides Paladins. (Before you ask "Aren't clerics life givers also?". Even the God of Death has priests for him.)

Race choices: Any.
