Jesus what's with all these questions? This is EverQuest Emulator* Dev team is focused on EverQuest, I'm sure somebody will make a WoW Emu, somebody might even make a EverQuest 2 Emu, Hell... there's already another (maybe more) other EverQuest Emu's... this site just the best EverQuest Emu atm... and they're working on 5.0. Go go Dev team! So I'd say yeah, there will be Emu's... but don't limit Emulators to just this site...

The game companies are starting to get smart. The last few online games require you to log in before you patch (planetside, swg for example).

That would make it a little hard to make a "free" emu.

They might have noticed that patching occurs way too frequently on the EQLive servers. They must figure they can save bandwidth like that. Wonder why that would be???

The development of servers like this ensure the games will last long after the official servers go down


BTW, I am hoping there is an eventual quick-install server with templates for NPC's and a GUI for quick changes, of course that would be years away, but the way things are headed, the interest is there, it's just that the people that CAN do it actually have programming and developing jobs
