Managing the db remotely through internet is a bad idea...

yeah.. and its not always 15mb.. it can get ALOT larger, trust me.

use somthin else
 

For this i think using somthing like mysql front or somthing simular because they dont download the enitre db at once

I believe that EQAdmin has been changed to only download the required information for each tab. So, it's much better than it was.

Keep in mind, though, that still can be quite a bit of data especially for tabs that use the item table and other large tables.
