login into 0.5
 

before i talk something wrong:
is it still actual that you need a prepatched everquest to play with 0.5 ?
or is it possible to play with a clean installed eq ?

well i installed just the original and pop lastnight then patched to eqlive and was able to get into the 0.5.0 servers.. =)

alright, because i updated a woking 4.4 eq and it works vor me, but a friend of me installed a clean eq and updated it, but he get 1017 errors all the time. after exchanging some files from my old 4.4 install and update again he could join. very strange.
