Eqw 2.32 crashing
 

I keep on crashing, first off if I try to connect to anyone's server I crash (errors), secondly if I go full screen..it crashes me to desktop..

i'll try answering some questions you might have...

1) Am I trying to run a server

No - Just logging on to join another person's server

2) Do you have Eqw 2.32, and not the newest out?

Yes- Eqw 2.32

3) What patch are you using?

I'm using patch up intill January 15, 2003.. (eqfix).


So why am I crashing on Eqw 2.32 and getting nasty error message, and when i'm full screen I completely crash to desktop..

Last night I got to someone's char select (full screen) but crashed after i hit enter world............

User interface errors? eqfix.zip causes problems, and is unsupported. The fix is somewhere in this forum. Start looking.

yeah same problem.

i can even create a char.

my guess is the problem lies with some UI conflict. let me know if u find a fix =)

Meanwhile , i just fully patched my eq , with the new ports i am able to play on 0.5.0 servers

just be patient , i'm sure more will upgrade to that version soon!

1) I deleted all my UI files (have backed up) and I still crash.

2) It cant be UI files from a old character, because I made a new account and still happens.

Hmm still stumped

Jan 15 is too late. i believe the working patch is mid december.
