ERROR: 1001
 

I Did the Tutorial and everything and it says login servers are UP but i still get the ERROR: 1001 Could not connect to server

why does no one ever use search? questions asked over and over again lol

I used search but all i found was "patch server down" but i was confused because on same thread ppl were saying that they don't care because they playin anyway...

I get the same thing, and I still cant find a solution in search............. help.

Yeah, I am getting the same issue too...yesterday the 14th I was playing, having fun, then my server I was playing on was taking down. So I try to log on later on the 14th and Error: 1001, I am maybe thinking that it is due to the NorthEastern Power Failure thing somehow since that is when the Error came about, but I don't know. I tried to change the eqhost from .org to .net but it was already .net. Someone actually post help instead of saying, "use search" when all you find when you search is more posts saying, "use search"

Bloodking is right, I was playing fine on Merth's, then I went to sleep wake up the next day, and my friend sent me a IM asking if I still had power, I told him ya why, and he explained then I watched the news, I live in southern CT and have power, but anyways, I tried to log on and I got Error 1001, and I never got this error, and haven't touched any of my files. So it has to do with the power outage.

I was fine up until everything went down. Now it shows everything is up but I still get the "Can't login please try again later" message. =\

I am getting the same problem as well, eqhost file is fine and everything, whats giong on? :cry:
