Yes, another 1017 error issue...
 

And yes I looked everywhere in the forums and tried everything so far. Using 4.4. Should I be able to run the server(minilogin/world/zone) and the EQ client on the same computer? I can log in, but I get 1017 when I select the server. My only though is that is it because I am trying to run both on the same computer.

I have done everything all of the posts say with no luck. I do have the latest EQLive patch downloaded. That may also be my problem. If so, can someone post a definitive answer to if there is a way I can get this to work, or sit on my butt and wait for 5.0 release and run it as server only. Thank You.

If you have the latest live patch you can not play on 4.4, not even if you host it.

Figures. At least I know how to get the settings up. My biggest problem was adding the login user to the eq database since there was no user file created when the database is created. Now that I know how to do that, 5.0 should be a breeze.
