Hi, ive ben working on setting up a server for my self to play with and ive got everything up and going good, the only problem im haveing now is figuring out how to log in to my personal server i tried useing what i think the li/pw should be but i keep getting incorect li/pw. I know this is answerd here someplace on the forum but i cant find it. also, it would help if someone could tell me how i can make more li/pw for my friends to use

A few things:

1.) If you are NOT using MiniLogin.ini (Or MiniLoginAccounts, whatever its called) Make sure you go into MySQL and type If it works, you will see:

2.) If you are using the miniloginaccounts file (cant remember the exact name of it) Then just set it up by entering in the correct info.

Also, the only way to set it up over LAN is if you use the .ini file.

ok option 1 that you gave applies to me :P but when i type in:

INSERT INTO account SET user='eqemu', password='eqemu', status=200;

I get this error :

ERROR 1054: Unknown column 'user' in 'field list'

not sure what im doing wrong, do i have to create the user column? and if so, how??

Looking at the date you joined you dont have a working login / password yet. there is an issue right now so the forum wont create the login info. just be patient and wait for it to get sorted out.

This won't be a problem for accessing your own server:

You need to sort out your db schema. Re-loading an error-free database dump is probably the best idea.

Actualy see'ing as the error he gets is invalid Username / password and he is NOT using minilogin that means he is accesing the EMU login and getting the error there. That means he has the same Login issue as all people do who have tried to join EMU after the Net change.



You just need to hold on till they get the new login coded and everything is sorted out again.
