Can't get any errors, because I can't even login.

For some reason, Ive followed all the tutorials and such, except used 0.4.4 instead, I cannot even get an error for eqemu. Its like my computer isn't even reading it. Maybe there are some hidden steps which you have not described in the FAQ, or maybe my computer just hates eqhost.txt. Either way, does anyone know why I can't get the same errors everyone else is getting, why my computer still thinks it should connect to sony servers even after Ive changed eqhost.txt?

If your PC is connecting to SONY, then your eqhost.txt must be wrong ... or your client is trying to patch to SONY when you connect ... you need to use the patchme parameter to eqgame.exe

Or, dont forget that your EQHost file may be wrong, you still may be using the old eqemu.net domain. Look at the bottom of the page www.eqemulator.net here and make sure you do what it says with the domainnames. (Oddly enough, about 90% of the awswers to these questions posted in the support page are on the front page of EQEMu)

in the command prompt, just get into the everquest directory
then type

eqgame.exe patchme

Right? Cuz I do that and it doesnt wanna patch or anything it just starts loading the game, and when I try to connect it says I have an incorrect version, im guessing thats just because i changed eqhost.txt. Its almost like I can't change the server its trying to connect to.

btw, plz direct me to where it says to do something about domain names :-P
