Hmmm.. No errors but no workey...
 

I followed the guide at http://www.eqemulator.net/serverguide.php
I got all the way through and ran the world.exe file and got NO errors... ran Boot5zones.bat and got NO errors.... but now what? the guide does not say anything after. I read around and downloaded minilogin.exe and made my own miniloginaccounts.ini file and when I run the minilogin.exe file I get no errors but nothing happens afterward... no game comes up. SO, I ran EQW and loggin using my username and password I have from this site, I got to the server screen and no servers listed. I think I am very close but need help now. My files listed below:

I'm not sure if I am following the path for local lan or public EQEMU server, lol. But either one, whichever would be easier or closer to, is the one I want to make. Thanks.

You dont see the server because you listed it on the public EQEmu loginserver..

you need to chanfe loginserver and loginserver2 to =localhost

same for worldaddress.

Made the changes but at the server screen still no servers listed.

Yes I have the minilogin file in my eqemu folder and I run it after I run the world and boot5zones files, but when I do run minilogin it says login server listening on port:5999
Is that all it does? And were should me server be listed? On the Internet or just local? I'v tried both.

Suppose to run it before you run world and zones, i believe.

I ran the minilogin before the others and I get error 10061 connect failed... I'll see if I can find this error in the forum.

I am running all programs and files on the same computer..... Is this OK or do I have to run certain ones on different conputers? :lol:

I assume you are trying to run a 4.4 server ... running everything on one PC works great for me ... easier than trying to spread everything across multiple machines I would imagine. I've never tried to host a 5.0 server.

Do you have the "Correct" minilogin?

I downloaded the latest one out....
Just thought, I patched to the latest version of EQLive, could this be the problem. I AM trying to do the 4.4 version. If this is my problem, is there an easy way to change to the 0.5.0 version without having to redo everything?

As stated all over the place, 4.4 needs a patch from December. and 0.5.0 is NOT compadable with the current live patch ether. 5.0 DR3 will be releaced somtime after LDoN is done patching just keep checking back.
