Looks like it's time to reinstall EQ!

When you search with google for Mss32.DLL
several places to DL the file shows up and one of them says this

Common Errors: File Not Found, Missing File, Exception Errors

Solution: Download WinTasks to find out which application is using this DLL. Many problems can be solved by resinstalling this application. If the DLL is missing, download it to your windows system folder.

It's a .DLL that installs in the EverQuest directory. Just reinstall EverQuest to get it back.

Or you could try and patch but I seriously doubt it'll work without the .dll.

I just renamed the mss32.dll in my 5.0DR3 client to mss32.dll.old and patched to live and it re-downloaded it and I can connect fine. Might be worth a try to patch, if you are planning on connecting to 5.0DR3 servers.

5.0 is current with Live so you have to patch to play on it.
