where is info please?
 

While loggin in i get "ERROR String not found (318) or differant numbers on each button that rests in the bottom of the screens. such as the "YES" and "NO" buttons on the first "USER AGGREMENT" screen. the error messages continue throughout the entire log in process.I can get to the server screen some of the times..but then i think i am hitting the exit or another wrong button to play.
Also, most of the time i cannot log in, i get some error message but it only says String not found #...
I did notice that when i could not log in i only had to log onto this web site and then i could log in again, but for only a time or two.
Any info or location in the forums about where this might be solved would be much appreciated.

Could you post a screen shot? It could help us solve your problem visualy.



EDIT: As I recall I remember when i reformated my C:\ drive. I had EQemu and EQlive on my partioned E:\ drive. Then I would get string errors or such and block symboles as letters. Could be your directX files. Try updating them. If not ( if im not mistakin) your registry...

But try updating your direct X files at mircosoft.com . If you have Windows as your OS.

Thanks..it seems i needed to run the reg EQ patch. Now i only have the problem of not being able to log onto the game. I keep getting the Password or Username is wrong message. I was getting that alot befor but now it doesnt work even if i log onto this site first. I'll look around for the info on it.
