Pixled/Glitchy Text ect.
 
Im just wondering if anyone else is having this problem ... SOE EQ works fine, but when I connect to these server like the words seem kinda blurish and really pixxely like lines comming out of them and like just really messed up I got no idea why though ... does anyone else have this problem ? and yes I got the latest DIrect X and video card driver ...

Not sure what your problem could be, try posting your computer details through directx diagnostics.

If you have AA enabled for your vid drivers try disabling.

Are you using eqw? If so, the problem is probably because the resolution is shitty. Goto options and move the resolution closer to your desktop res.

Had this problem with eqlive....its a hardware problem.....
for some reason it came and went.... so my guess is that there is a driver messing up....

Another possibility:

"Smooth Edges Off Screen Fonts" . . . Windows>Control Panel>Display Options> (where you go from here varies by OS)

When you shrink or grow the eqw screen from windows (read: click and drag it bigger), it makes everything ugly like this. Is that what happened?

Heard a few guildies in EQLive with this problem too..... Do you use winxp?? if so, we came to the conclusion that the latest windows update released by microsoft was the culprit. Cause as soon as the next patch came out (usually 1 every day or so) the problem was gone.

Linux had the same problem for a while. I can't get it to work in Linux because of my video driver, but that's probably still an issue.
