Bazaar Crash with newest CVS compile
Ok can anyone point me in the right direcrtion on fixing this.. it works fine with any compile before 10-4 but as soon as i swap over to any newer compile bam only bazaar crashes.. and the zone server that was hosting the bazaar crashes too fast for me to see any info. Here is a snip from my eqemudegub file:
2003/10/14 03:03:47 GMT: Zone 7995 crashed. Errorcode: 4/5. Current zone loaded:bazaar. Current clients:1. Caused by: Tests 2003/10/14 03:05:09 GMT: Zone 7995 crashed. Errorcode: 4/5. Does it give an error message in the console, or does the console just disappear? Could you try running it in a debug compile and get us more information on why?

will toss up a debug and try it now will let ya know

looks like im missing a trader table in the db... cant find any info on it in any of the files off of cvs.. did that not get pushed?
|
Maybe not. I'll take a look tonight and see. If not I'll post it somewhere.
Look at the db.sql in EQEMu Release and make sure it's not in there. I thought I had pushed those out, those are LE's new trader changes. |
nope not there just pulled a fresh copy, file date is 9-22-03. Searched the code also with no luck. Thanks for the help btw guys. I got the table info off of IRC, and bazaar up and running fine =)
|
ok after checking the web cvs i noticed two directories named EQEMu Release and EQEmu Release, EQEmu Release has the most up to date files. Im guessing that CVS isnt case sensitive so its pulling the first directory which has the old fiels.. take a look when ya get a chance

Theres multiple ones in there.. Problem is once it's in, it's a pain in the ass to get out. Have to send a sourceforge request to get them to prune, and i've just never gotten around to it...
|
the recent patch completely messed up my bazaar traders, I got a lot of them fixed before I left on my trip, but a few things are still broken. Ill fix them when I get back next weekend.

Sounds great thanks for the replies, great work :D
