My SQL connect error.

Any idea what this means?

Correction, i think i know what it means, (duh, it cant connect to the sql server, or at least not the database) but how do i fix it?

its mysql 4, running on redhat 8.

I created the database, or at least i think i dod.. I'd like to try to create it again from scratch, and know pratically nothing about SQL, how can i delete the 'eq' database, and create it again from scratch?

do a search for 1045, this is at least a couple hundered threads covering this error by now.
