HELP ME PLEASE!!!

hey, i have followed the guide to eqemu and when i try to get on the 5.0 server, it says that it wont let me connect to any of the servers and to rerun the patch and it is usually temporary.

I have done everything that the guide tells me (datarate : 8.0)
(eqhost: [Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997"
}

and i put patchme at the end of the icon thingy but it still doesnt work. help please :D

maybe try eqw instead of the patchme?

www.eqwindows.com

try it through that way, are you patched to current? cause that may be your problem? also, give a shot at the eqemu patcher... maybe that might help you some.

thanks man, but it still doesnt work. to get updated to the current eqlive do i just have to run the normal eq patcher?

...well... let me first suggest backing up whatever eq you have right now, so the one you are toying with doesnt get screwed up and you loose everything.

after that, use the regular eq patcher, then use the eqemu patcher (i think) or first try playing without patching with the eqemu patcher, if that doesnt work patch with eqemu.

the real question is... have you just installed EQ for the first time? or have you previously used the EQ Patcher?
