If a path should only go from A<-->B<-->C (ie: no connection between A and C), and all points have LOS to each other, how will the server know that the A<-->C connection is not valid?
Would you be able to restate the other paragraphs, or create something visually? Maybe I am just dense, but I am a little lost with them.
