Best things

1... updates all your open websites at once
2... loads up all your chosen websites on start-up
3... massive decrease in spyware etc

was extremely easy and quick to install

have been told to change from IE to Firefox for ages... could never go back now

How come... if the Firefox programme is so small... does it have these features that internet explorer doesn't?
Possibly because of that hidden autodownloadspyware4u.exe file in the IE directory.

The Mozilla Foundation doesn't have the option of refraining from disclosing issues. Firefox is an open source project. That means that when issues are found, it's by the general public, and such issues become public knowledge very quickly. Firefox will never have that problem of later admitting to "undisclosed" issues.

Furthermore, IE is inherently less secure because of its blithe use of security-destroying functionality such as ActiveX and, more importantly, because of its close integration with the operating system. Firefox will never have the problem IE does with every vulnerability becoming many times worse by virtue of the fact that it can more directly affect the OS. Whether or not Firefox will ever match the sheer number of vulnerabilities in IE (which I doubt, since MS routinely decides that vulnerabilities aren't worth fixing), the fact still remains that when a vulnerability in Firefox comes up it never directly compromises the OS itself, whereas with IE it's difficult to find a vulnerability that does not directly compromise the OS.

There are good reasons that people like myself, who do computer security consulting professionally, have better things to say about Firefox than about IE.

By the way, I also did a search on google for why IE is better than Firefox...All I got were websites with the title "Why Firefox is better than IE" with that search. I guess just about everyone disagrees with you mysticalnoobjesus.
