Project Vision Statement
The primary vision of the OpenEQ project is to provide a fully Open-Source (GPL'd) EverQuest client capable of connecting to (modified) EQEmu servers.
The goals of the primary vision are as such:
1) Full support for all of EverQuest's zone and model files, allowing current data to be utilized.
2) Connection to EQEmu (or another EverQuest server aside from EQLive, which we will never support) providing a decent portion of the functionality of the official EverQuest client.
Beyond this there isn't much decided. If you have any input on the direction of the project, please post it here. If you troll, I'll simply delete the post.
