I'm debian user, and i don't have many problems with eqemu.
Each problem that I had was especially has a package which I had forgotten to install (thank you for your patience, fathernitwit
)
I use debian because :
1- this distrib is popular
2- the stable version (SARGE now) is very good for easy (I'm not a pro) make server with stability and security.
3- I can use Kde/Gnome (For firefox) even if I prefer to type lines of orders when I configure EQEMU.
4- I never crash a debian install but i think we can't say that about many distrib.
