i've actually noticed that bug with the world.exe file. what happens is every now and then someone connects and the debug spits out something like:
[Debug] [NET__IDENTIFY] Could not identify stream from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx before it closed.
then what happens is your client hangs frozen on the character select screen for like 1-2 minutes, then it kicks you back to the login screen.
Just try reconnecting next time it happens till the team is able to find and fix this bug.
