Every single time I've killed him I have received Burnyai Hide Shoulder Pads (#272
. This seemed a bit odd to me, considering that it wasn't in his loot table. I shrugged and moved on.
Days later, I killed the fabled ambassador dvinn. And received (the name is momentarily escaping me) a piece of loot that definately didn't belong on him. Something like a +10 all stats, +7 all resists, +65 hp earring. Looked it up on allakhazam... and turns out that's loot from sleepers.
So, I checked the Db again. He's supposed to have a 100% chance of dropping the fabled dragoon dirk. Yet, 2 for 3 kills... I received an item that's not even in his loot table.
Wtf?
