Crusaders of Voracity is an EQEmu server combining Winter's Roar (Shards of Dalaya), with the GuildWars PVP/Location system. The code is built off the stable 5.3 Winter's Roar EQEmu code and uses the Winter's Roar database, with of course adjustments for the GuildWars item system and PVP Merchants.
*NOTE* This server is COMPLETELY FREE. Donations are not required by any means, we appreciate any donations anyone gives us for the server but we will never request, demand, or require any kind of financial support from anyone. That being said if you wish to help us pay for some of the cost in running this, by all means go ahead.
How the server works:
* You level up like any regular EQEmu except your in the custom world of Winter's Roar (SoD).
* Higher end item's drop rates are reduced from WR's original rate, and most of these nice items are on PVP Merchants.
* There are certain locations whether cities, towers, or camps that can be owned/defended/attacked/taken over by guilds.
* Instead of each class have its own starting zone, we have a safe zone where no PVP is allowed and PVP point gains are blocked.
* Leveling past 30 is not possible if you are not in a guild.
* Guilds have a max member limit.
PVP System:
PVP between players is unrestricted with the exception of:
* Being in the same guild.
* Having a significant level difference (may be tweaked/changed).
* Being in the safe zone.
PVP Points:
* You receive PVP points for killing other players.
* You receive PVP points at a certain time interval for each location owned.
* You receive PVP points for defending a location you own.
* You receive PVP points for taking over a location.
* PVP points are used to purchase items off PVP merchants.
Guild Locations:
* There are certain locations throughout the world that your guild can capture.
* Captured locations give PVP points throughout time to all members of a guild which are not in a safe zone.
* Offline guild members currently get time interval PVP points even while offline (may be tweaked/changed).
