Sorry for all the posts, but after toying around with different options i figured it out... it was runspeed that was causing the issue... the mob (Kerafyrm) had significantly higher runspeed than normal and i guess what the server could handle... although i had left the runspeed at (50) which is how it came in the database and it had been fine for the longest time... oh well... but hopefully this might help someone else.
