No, this project is not associated with the Console version of EQ and it probably never will be. You might enjoy the PC version though, if you are interested to check it out. You will need to get Everquest Titanium Pack to play though.
And, thanks for your comments on the community. This one is a mature community and overall it is very helpful.
The attitude of the community is one of the main things I like about this project.
