Unless something has changed recently that $30 offer for Windows 7 was for an upgrade and not the full version. Upgrading from one OS to another by overwriting files creates a gigantic mess and for alot of people that upgrade process can take all day to complete.
Just something to be mindful of if you are expecting a quick and painless transition.
