if you had read the README you wouldnt be asking this, but I'll see if I can answer so as not to talk down to you, I to am using win XP Pro, first of all, you have to have MYSql installed, and running, then you create a DB called "Eq" or something you can easly remember, since you'll have alot of areas asking for this... now under the slim chance you already did this, you have to go and EDIT the db.ini file so that it points to the DB you made, and has the username and password for your db in it, so that it can make changes if it has to, not real hard, but easly over looked
