I found and fixed this awhile back.
The NPC spawning in the LDON did not match the npcid specified in the LDON template.
At least true of the db I am using peqdb..

If you're an LDON fan , send me a note. I've made a ton of changes. I added extra scaling code to make the adv better match party ability.
Also, the creating crates in Ruj adventures dont work and can't be attacked. Worse, in Ruj rescues, Mosstoe wont follow because she's scared of them. I deleted the ones near her.
