Yes, they created a special tab in the inventory that shows the helmet, chest, primary, and secondary of your mercenary. The have also created a mercenary-specific AA tree with the added benefit of differentiating between which type of mercenary uses which AA. They have come quite far since I last played, and it's fantastic.
