I do work with Furniture. He has taken a leave somewhat, Im just building on what he wanted to do, which was completely finish a classic era , and release a correct server / DB. I'm looking for people willing to test this out and check out atlease the solo / group stuff. Thats why Id like the testers to spot things I have yet to see.
I unlike P99 will allow boxing(2/3 boxing only to fair, and for small pops but dont want people go crazy with it). On the P99 its very hard to get anything done in a timely manner mostly you have to get lucky if it requires a group to farm it.
So currently my project will detail in being time locked instead of progression, and with the lack of actually fully removing or nerfing items completely, no matter when you come to the server or find out about EQ Emu servers, the chance to farm it like you could have will always be there. I see a lot of times on the P99, Yeah I just joined a few weeks / month ago so i missed out on such and such. This also allows once completed someone to pick up the DB and make minor changes to get a fully classic / kunark set server.
My server offers that chance to farm it (tho with more time / work) to earn it yourself and not be forced to spend days, weeks, and months farming Seafurys in OoTears or what not to earn plat to buy the item from people who at random raise and lower said items. Or some people like me, wounder if the items were to powerful and experience it myself. The server wouldnt come into full force until after the DB is near completed tho.
Once I do finish the DB tho, I got my own set of plans to expand and help each class, in terms of making secondary epic lines each with there own quests so not a lot of lay over from everyone trying to do the same quest (like you see with most other servers). But these plans are way down the road and main focus is getting the DB set.
