Elaboration on Classes and why we are 'locking' them.
In every normal MMO you are normally given 4 options, a Tank, a Healer, a Wizard, and either a Rogue or an Archer(something melee//ranged dps that isn't purely magic).
Taking from that idea we figured with a server set up much like this (where you start out in a state of neutral-ness and either becoming extremely evil and unlocking a Reaver class or becoming good and unlocking a Gladiator! They would be in theory the same type of class, (while these are not actual classes we have implemented, was merely spit balling an idea). How to obtain these said classes would be pretty easy, you get to your hub zone look around and see something like Reaver_Galio, normally (at least me), I hail everyone in the zone and see if they have a point or not in this case, he would.
No that's not saying there will only be 1 per faction extra, we could have 4 different classes for Balance and Hatred(NSTC), and to 'unlock' each of them you have to live their lives, learn how they hunt, learn how they heal, learn how they avoid combat by sneaking, ETC. It will most likely be like progressing in a tier zone... Get there kill bosses for things, return those items to the NPC, the more you do, the more he trusts you, and go from there.
As I often say -- Either play it or don't. That's your choice...
We will be updating this post and our forums//server page as time goes on. Once we're live for Alpha we hope to see at least some people in!
