Yes, Digitala, I'm running it right now just for the sole purpose of the Classic Database, but the server source which you have to run with is god awful and I wouldn't recommend running it. The only reason I'm not running stock EQEmu is because Id rather be working on my eqbrowser client development than classicizing an entire server zone-by-zone.

It has some pretty devastating Zone crashing problems all over, as one example. Daxum posted the database/source, I linked it below. I got my copy from Searyx though, under the table.

@KinglyKrab, it is nice that you can lock certain zones by expansion, but that is only one table out of many that need to be "classicized." Spawns for example.

Also, unrelated to the database, but many stock PEQ Quests need to be looked over and edited to have many things cut out that allow players to obtain later expansion items which is extremely time consuming doing it zone-by-zone. (If you are going for classic and cutting off your server by certain expansions)

EDIT: here is the source/database for VZTZ http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=29168

So you pretty much have an uphill road when it comes to running a classic server. Either you can run shitty source and not have to deal with spending years getting a classic database & quest scripts playable, or you can run the most recent and updated source, while spending many years going zone-by-zone making it classically playable in the databse and also in the quest scripts.
