I am looking at updating source from March 2015 to present. It looks like there has been some big changes in how AAs are done and I also never did get mercenaries working.
My question is how likely is it that updating will break changes I have made? Will I have to worry about players losing purchased AA's. Are there any other changes I would need to worry about?
I have made a lot of changes but all most all of them have been to the database and only a few have been made in the quests .pl files.
Some changes
- Spawn timers for Mobs and PH chance for Named
- Items in merchants as well as new items you start with
- lots of changes in the rule_values table
- Drop chances off monsters
- PoK book destinations. This was done in quest folder
- Changes to spells
